1 Redmi Note 10

 

The Redmi Note 10 is not groundbreaking in terms of features and specifications for the sub-R. 12,000, but it covers all the basics and offers some nice additional touches. It's thinner and lighter than Redmi Note 9 and introduces a new Evol design language that makes it look pretty smart. The 6.43-inch Full HD + AMOLED screen is the highlight, delivering crisp details and vibrant colors. You get the Qualcomm Snapdragon 678 SoC, which is powerful enough for both casual gaming and everyday tasks. The battery life is good enough to last at least a full day, and the charging is fast. The cameras are quite ordinary, the 48-megapixel main one takes good pictures during the day and acceptable at night. The super wide-angle and selfie cameras are fine too, but the macro camera is just for fun. MIUI is still full of promotional content and advertisements, but the company promises to remove them in a future update.

2 Motorola Moto G30






The Motorola G30 has been alongside the Moto G10 Power and is aimed at the budget segment in India. The Motorola Moto G30 has a new design, it has a 6.5-inch display with a dewdrop notch at the top. The Moto G30's bezel is made of plastic, all the buttons are on the right side, the volume buttons are higher, and the Google Assistant button is right on top, making it hard to reach, Motorola offers an IP52 rating for water resistance, and the SIM card tray has a rubber seal.
Motorola has opted for the Qualcomm Snapdragon 662 SoC and offers 4GB of RAM and 64GB of storage. You can expand storage using the hybrid SIM slot. The Moto G30 features an HD + display with a 90Hz refresh rate. It has a 5000mAh battery and a 20W charger included. Motorola ships the G30 with Android 11 out of the box with some customization. The software is clean with no malware apps preinstalled. Battery performance is good, too, and the phone can last longer than a day and a half quite easily.
Motorola has equipped the Moto G30 with a quad camera system consisting of a 64MP main camera, an 8MP ultra wide-angle camera, a 2MP macro camera, and a 2MP depth sensor. There was good detail from the main camera. The ultra-wide-angle camera offered a wider field of view, but with a loss of detail. A macro camera allows you to get closer to the subject, but has a limited resolution. Low-light camera performance in normal mode was decent, with some loss of shadow detail. The night mode was too aggressive, which made the image unusually bright with washed out highlights. Video recording peaks at 1080p for both the main and selfie shooter and is stabilized.

3 Poco M3






Poco M3 is a budget smartphone priced at less than Rs 15,000. It has a 6.53-inch Full-HD + display with a dewdrop notch at the top. It has a side fingerprint scanner, stereo speakers and an IR emitter for instrument control. This smartphone has a triple camera on the back. It's pretty well designed and looks a lot more expensive than the price it actually costs. The back has a textured finish that resists fingerprints.
The phone is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 662 processor and has 6GB of RAM. There are two storage options available, 64GB and 128GB. The storage is expandable via a dedicated microSD card slot and accepts cards up to 512GB. It packs a 6,000mA battery, which is good for the price. It supports 18W charging and gets a 22.5W charger in the box.
The Poco M3 is capable of handling everyday tasks and the battery lasts for a day and a half. The large battery does help to extend the battery life, but it takes over two hours to fully charge. With 6GB of RAM on board, it handles multiple tasks with ease. You can play most games, but heavier games feel warm to the touch. You get a 48MP main camera, a 2MP macro camera, and a 2MP depth sensor on the Poco M3. Overall, camera performance was average, with the phone taking decent photos in daylight, but not impressive in low light. The Poco M3 takes better photos with Night Mode enabled, but it takes about four seconds to take a photo.

4 Realme Narzo 20 Pro






The Realme Narzo 20 Pro has the same design as the Realme 7. It features a 6.5-inch Full-HD + display with 90Hz and a camera hole in the upper left corner, which may be distracting for some. The Narzo 20 Pro has a side-mounted fingerprint scanner located on the power button. The volume buttons have been moved to the other side of the device, making them easy to press.
The Narzo 20 Pro is equipped with four cameras and the back has a V-shaped pattern that glows when light reflects off it at right angles. Realme used a 4500mAh battery for the Narzo 20 Pro, composed of two 2250mAh cells. to enable faster charging. It supports 65W Realme SuperDart proprietary charging with the matching charger included. The Narzo 20 Pro weighs 191g, which is quite acceptable considering its size and the battery it fits into.
Realme has opted for the same MediaTek Helio G95 for the Narzo 20 Pro. It has two variants with 6GB of RAM with 64GB of storage and 8GB of RAM with 128GB of storage, Narzo 20 Pro gave me no reason to complain in day to day use. Apps loaded quickly, and switching between them was a breeze. The fingerprint scanner and face recognition allowed the device to be quickly unlocked.

5 Motorola Moto G9







The Moto G9 is a budget offering from Motorola with powerful hardware. It features a 6.5-inch HD + LCD display with a high 20: 9 aspect ratio. The phone has flat sides for easy grip and easy access to the rear-mounted fingerprint reader. Motorola packaged a 5,000mAh battery, resulting in a 200g margin.
It runs pure Android 10 with Motorola's My UX. There are very few useful settings on top. You also get a dedicated Google Assistant button on the G9. The smartphone is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 662 SoC and is only available in one variant with 4GB of RAM and 64GB of internal storage.
The Moto G9 is equipped with a triple camera setup consisting of a 48MP main camera with f / 1.7 aperture, a 2MP macro camera and a 2MP depth sensor. Shoots decent photos in good lighting with good detail. It lacks the wide angle camera used in most competitions. The macro camera is not bad, but with a lower resolution. Camera performance in low light was average, but night mode is very effective.
